The view from my first apartment was great. One or two of the staff particularly were fantastic. Security at the gates were always lovely. I loved the kitchen and the le creuset cutlery was divine. The cleaning service was immaculate. Aircon worked. Hand and body wash smelt nice.

Shiraz 3 is located on the lower floor. Felt like going to a dungeon to reach the front door. The view from the room looked onto the pool (20m away) and a splendid 180 degree mountain scenery views. The king size bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a reasonable size. The breakfast room is a distance from the room but a buggy service is provided without charge. The breakfast has a cold section and a hot menu that provides ample food to eat. An onsite restaurant is being built and is expected to be completed in late 2025 so there is no evening onsite dinning available at present. The old settee was surprisingly comfortable to sit on.

The complex was great and the pool amazing. We had the back facing rooms. Next time would choose the pool/golf course facing rooms. (Worth the extra cost) Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. We were able to check out late in one of our rooms, despite them being very busy. The spa facilities were great. The Clubhouse was also amazing, great food and excellent views. We did not play golf, but would be a golfers dream.

The location is stunning, with beautiful views of the golf course and mountains, and a particularly lovely vineyard. We also enjoyed the pleasant breakfast setting, just a short walk away. The wine tasting included in our stay was a highlight, and the staff at both the tasting and breakfast were excellent.

We upgraded our room, which meant we had a room looking onto the golf course / mountains and it was stunning. The room was gorgeous too, pool towels provided in the room. Fully kitted out kitchen. It was a perfect stay for my birthday. Amazing to see how on top of the gardening they are, upkeep is everyday. The food in the restaurants was also spectacular. The tapas style menu was so nice and the wine tasting was so insightful everyone is really helpful.

Great location on the secure wine estate. A short walk to the restaurant for breakfast, which also serves lunch. A longer uphill walk to the golf club restaurant, but a golf buggy is available via reception. It's a short drive into Stellenbosch. The accommodation is a bit noisy due to a lack of soft furnishings in the communal hallway and banging doors from other guests. A lovely spot with views of the golf course.

Great facilities with everything walkable or by using the free shuttle. Free wine tasting provided to guests staying on site and reduced golf rates. Meals at the golf club were excellent All staff were super friendly and helpful

The setting and Kleine Zalze on the whole. Beautiful pool and trees where we had breakfast

Professional and efficient hospitality team. The golf carts to the restaurant and Golf Clubhouse were highly convenient. The mountain views are breathtaking, the Kleine Zalze wine selection exceptional, and the swimming pool truly outstanding.

The location was excellent. It was near the main area of Stellenbosch, where you could get all the great restuarants. And of course the fact that it was in the middle of a wine yard was also really convenient. The staff was excellent, and I thought the rooms were very comfortable for the family.
